Just a young American lady from the west coast (Go Ducks!) of the USA inspired to learn, explore, and make a lasting impact on the world.

Currently I am living as Esperanza (my self-proclaimed spanish name, meaning hope) in Santiago, Chile for seven months. My boyfriend Nacho and I have dedicated time to exploring this beautiful continent and that’s what I will be sharing. This blog was initially created to share my South American life with my friends and family because I don’t use FaceBook – crazy, right? However, I decided to spread the love because I think many others will enjoy a glimpse of our adventures and if you are planning a trip to any of these places – which I hope I can inspire you to do – feel free to ask any questions!

Although I am excited about the great stuff I have to share, pictures and words can’t relay the majesty that comes with experience. The most rewarding part about adventure is the perspective that is gained. Experiencing different cultures, interacting with the people, receiving the nature, and learning about the history is epic. I intend on living a life that explores the epic of our incredible world.
